Construction Work at the Nesconset Branch Nears Completion!

The new sliding doors to the main entrance have been installed.


Workers install the interior sliding doors as part of the new entrance.

Smithtown Steel Work Nears Completion!

Steelworker performs finishing touches to the frame work.


Metal decking is in place for the future Children's Department.

When the spot welding is completed, the metal corregated steel will be ready for concrete to be poured.

Commack Nears Completion!

The main entrance to the Commack Building nears completion as the doors and lighting have been installed.


Highlighted is the new main reference area featuring energy efficient lighting, skylights and windows.


A new Castle mural in the Children's Room has been applied to the wall.


An energy efficient heating system is up and running!


Shown is the new Community Room that will be made available for public meetings and programs.



Nesconset's Interior Nears Completion!

Decorative canopies have been installed from the ceiling in the main reference area in the Nesconset building.


More public space has been created in the building with the installation of a new quiet study room.

The Children's Room is beginning to take shape. Here you can see the new energy efficient lighting and decorative ceiling that has been installed.


A woodland mural has been added at the entrance of the Children's Room.


New lighting has been installed along the driveway from Smithtown Boulevard into the new public parking area.
