Groundbreaking Ceremony was held on September 24th marking the beginning of the construction and renovation work at the Smithtown building.
Library Director Rob Lusak, Library Trustees and local elected officials were on hand for the groundbreaking.
Excavation begins for the new expansion of the Smithtown building.
Finishing touches are being done before the foundation can be poured.
The Smithtown building is still open despite the massive construction work that is taking place!
