Steel and concrete work underway at Nesconset

The crane lifts a steel beam to be installed on the new roof.

Workers prepare the steel for the new skylights in the future main room of the Nesconset Branch.

The old rifle range has been renovated by adding windows and doors. This formerly unusable space will be an asset to the Library!

An exterior view of the old rifle range complete with cutouts for windows and doors. Workers are bricking up the old windows on the upper level for the main room of the Library that will include the Reference and Circulation Departments along with a large reading area.
