Architect Steve Walsh presented the Library's plans to the Village of the Branch Planning Board The last governmental hurdle for the Library are the actual building permits. Permits from both the Town of Smithtown and the Village are expected shortly. As soon as the permits are received, the Library will begin the bidding process for the general contracting services. We are still on target for construction to begin in the fall.
